Contemporary federation style family home

Nestled on a block amongst bush and farmland in North West Tasmania, Amy and Sophie’s home blends old with new.

You’ll see custom interior choices that bring their vision to life.  As you walk up to the home, the stunning Hume leadlight glass door stands out as a welcoming centrepiece.  The federation style interior doors and classic bay windows continue a tribute to old-world class.  In contrast, sleek bathroom cabinetry, open plan living, and bright, light rooms make it clear that this home belongs in 2019.

From a floor-plan view, the entrance separates two main zones of the house.  The southern zone designed for entertaining with an open plan living, dining, and kitchen, and a separate lounge. To the north, the hallway braces a living zone with study, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, laundry, and super-sized carport. To keep the whole house warm and cozy, Sophie and Amy invested in a ducted heating system.

We were stoked to be able to build the home you love so much Sophie and Amy, thanks for choosing Own-A-Home.
